Decided to try this place walking distance from our airbnb. The drinks and appies were well made and the service was great. The only thing was that the steak could use better flavouring and meat quality. Quesadillas and tuxedo burger as also great choices!

The oldest pub on the Peninsula, and a great place to go. Good food, good beers, good crowd.My friends and I have loved the Prairie Inn for a long time. It is a fun place to meet up, it has a great menu and I do like the staff. It is busy on weekends, so there's good energy in it to keep the party going. The seperation of different rooms means that there are some quieter spots for people wanting that (maybe not library quiet, but good for conversations) and there is a nice covered year-round patio on the east side of the building. You won't tan on it, but you won't burn or freeze either.And the menu - wow! Whatever meal you are there for, you have a lot to choose from. The portions are large, too. I can't say that I have ever left hungry, whether I've had a full meal or just shared a few appies.The P.I. is a stopping point on almost every trip I have to the Island, and will continue to be in the future.

A fantastic pub experience .The staff are completely outstanding some of the nicest and finest people you could ever meet as well as the locals who dine here. The food is absolutely delicious make sure you come hungry or bring plenty of friends or a good size vehicle to carry the leftovers home . My favourite pub. Best food always and great service. Prices are still in line with what to expect from a pub style restaurant. Love it.

Typical pub appearance wise, but the staff are wonderful and the food is much better than typical pub food. Good portions and high quality for the price you pay! A good choice in my opinion is the seafood mushroom caps, but the nachos are a classic!

The Prairie Inn has always been our go-to place and always will be! Great atmosphere, rich in history, happy staff, good food...it's all here. You should go!

The Prairie Inn is our favourite eatery with good food and decent prices. The servers are generally friendly and on point. We've experienced some hick-ups, but overall a good time. I've attended retirement parties and birthday parties at the pub/restaurant. The pub puts on food and drink specials. It is one of the oldest buildings on the peninsula. There is a very small family section for mixed ages.

Quaint...very crowded when I went...always a good sign...the server and the bartender and the...you get the idea wanted to seat the group of 6 of us as soon as possible and seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Small town charm and great bordering on exemplary service...what can I say will be back.

I've only gotten take out but so far, so good! Turkey dip was delicious and nice big serving. Definitely need extra gravy! Tip them well!

Daily specials, good selection, good food, fair prices. This is a friendly neighborhood pub that has a family friendly section for those under 18. Good service also.

This is a locals spot, so be patient, the staff here move quick and quietly, but your never rushed. Good eats, and TVs for those wet days when you want to catch some sports, hockey and baseball are usually strong contenders but I've seen it all, and the guys behind the bar enjoy a good game like the rest so, they're always okay for a bar chat, if your feeling like a pint and chat for the afternoon Sunday games.

We had fish tacos and a corned beef sandwich and both were good. Great service too.

It's a really good neighborhood pub to catch the game. There is now an all-ages dining section. There are some salad options but much of food amounts to deep fried and starchy fare. It's good even if it may not be good for you.

Love this place. It's a cornerstone social pub in north saanich. Reminds me of simpler times. Good food and friends. Hit it up for some pub fare and atmosphere. Always has the game on if you're a sports fan.

Very disappointed with Fish and Chips . Batter not even solidified, returned. yuk, yuk. BIGGER MEALS DONT MEAN BETTER!!!

We had a great time at 'the PI' watching the US Open ladies final. The server was fantastic, prices were good! The way the venue has separated spaces is perfect for get togethers or a quiet lunch.

Food is good and the service quick. Good place to meet the locals.

Have been at the PI many times. My favourite place to go! Miss going in these troubled times but now they are doing take out so that is on the menu tomorrow. Miss my living room away from home! Staff are amazing and treat you like family!

We had a great experience at the Prairie Inn. They have created a safe dining environment, and the food is still as yummy as ever. So good to see the servers in masks, as well as the extra cleaning happening to ensure safety. Thank you PI!

Had lunch here. Quick service, great burger with a fresh tasting salad. My friend had the tortilla soup whixh she loved. Good pub grub.

8 friends had a great lunch after a tour through the Level Ground Coffee plant
